Yesterday, Apple announced it was recalling the power adapters bundled with the iPhone 3G due to a defect that could cause the chargers to shock users. Today, AT&T got around to informing its customers of the recall. The carrier giant, the exclusive provider of the iPhone in the U.S. sent out a mass of SMS text messages informing customers of Apple's exchange program to get new chargers in users’ hands.
