Security Cam ($0.99, available here) is a simple new app that turns your iPhone into a security camera. It allows you to set your iPhone up to take pictures at set frequencies (say one a minute), at pre-defined noise levels, or some combination of the two modes. Just about the only capture model not included, at least not yet, is motion. The app time and date stamps the pictures and puts the iPhone to sleep to conserve battery between snap shots. Sounds pretty useful for when you aren't carrying your iPhone with you. One problem: when would that be exactly?
