Palm CEO Claims to Have Never Used an iPhone

allthingsdpicrub.jpgIsn't it an old adage in business and war that you should always know your enemy? Well, if your Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein, that's not always the case, at least for his company. Rubinstein, who launched the iPod at Apple, told AllThingsD during CES He said, "I don't have an iPhone," then added, perhaps even more amazingly, "actually, I've never used one," before explaining that Palm doesn't pay much attention to Apple. Hmmm...all this is a bit hard to believe Mr. Rubinstein. A bit more believable is his sentiment regarding the cat and mouse game his company and Palm have been playing in enabling webOS devices like the Pre and Pixi to sync with iTunes: "We don't think what Apple did is good for their customers, but Apple's going to do what Apple's going to do."
