It is alway interesting to see not just who Apple targets with its latest iPhone commericals but how they go about doing it. The latest TV ads, posted last night are effective as always, The first, called First Steps (see video here), is aimed straight at parents and grandparents. In it a mom records her son's first steps and then sends an MMS of the video to family and friends. Next, she conferences grandpa and others onto a group call via the iPhone's merge and add call features. In the second TV ad, titled On Hold, Apple does an effective job of showing folks some of the things they can do when on hold: e-mailing, paying bills, downloading apps, and playing a game.
