PhatWare's just updated the iPhone edition of PhatNotes, a note taking and organizing app for smartphones.
The latest version promises improves the way for users organize notes with the addition of 12 unique Folder icons (each in four different colors) and 150 unique note icons. Meanwhile, interface improvements make it easier to navigate and access folder and note settings and application options, according to the developer.
Long compatible with Windows Mobile, PhatNotes made its way to the iPhone a couple of months ago as the first notes editor to offer both handwriting recognition input and keyboard entry modes for Apple's smartphone platform. Additional features include support for shorthand, a customizable auto-corrector, user dictionary, and spell checker.
The PhatNotes Desktop application lets you synchronize notes between your iPhone and PC. It passed Microsoft Windows 7 compatibility testing.
