Mitek Systems' Mobile Receipt application takes advantage of the built-in camera capabilities of the iPhone (and other smartphones) to free users from having to compile, copy, cut and paste or fax paper receipts for their business expenses. With Mobile Receipt ($4.99, available here) downloaded to an iPhone, a user simply snaps a digital image of a receipt and Mitek's a IMagePROVE technology automatically crops, rotates, scales and readies the image for transmitting.
